Porsche 911 GTS Hinted in Spy Photos

AutoGuide‘s spy photographers have captured a new Porsche 911 model testing on the roadways, hinting that a new GTS model could be on its way.

The unknown Porsche model was spotted with a group of other prototypes, but this one stood out since it was a 911 convertible model sporting center-mounted exhaust pipes. The tips weren’t as close together as one would expect on a GT3 model, but were still different than the typical Carrera and Carrera S models.

Considering we know that the German automaker isn’t creating a convertible variant for its GT3, it is likely that this vehicle caught in our spy photos is a special model like the GTS. There’s also a chance that this could be a new Speedster model, but from the spy photos, it looks like this 911 sports the same roof found on the standard convertible variant.
