Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0 Coming this Fall

Scion is readying an even hotter version of its FR-S and it’ll be arriving this fall.

Following in the footsteps of other Scion models, the FR-S will get its Release Series 1.0 model later this year and with it will be a unique Yuzu-colored exterior (as in, bright yellow) complemented with HID headlights and LED Daytime Running Lights. On the inside, the FR-S will benefit from dual-zone automatic climate control, a Smart key with Push Button Start and TRD shifter-plate with a sequentially-numbered TRD badge.

The Scion FR-S RS 1.0 will be prepared at the TRD factory and will come equipped with a TRD Aero Kit with spoiler, TRD lowering springs and a quad-tip exhaust system from TRD. In addition, the interior will gain a leather-trimmed steering wheel and shift knob. Like other RS vehicles in Scion’s lineup, the FR-S RS 1.0 will be limited to just 1,500 units.
