2015 Ford Mustang 50 Years Convertible Could be Yours
If you love what Ford did with its 2015 Mustang GT 50th Anniversary Edition but wish it came in a convertible, you’ll want to read this.
The American automaker is creating a one-off Mustang 50 Years convertible for raffle with the proceeds supporting multiple sclerosis research. The winning ticket for this one-of-a-kind ‘Stang will be selected in Mustang Alley on August 16, 2014 during the annual Woodward Dream Cruise. It will be the only one built with a performance pack and select content from the 50 Year Limited Edition fastback.

Powered by a 5.0-liter V8 with over 420 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque, the convertible will feature “Wimbledon White” exterior paint, chrome-accented grille with corralled pony emblem, chrome accents around the tri-bar taillamp lenses, aluminum instrument panel trim and a rear decklid badge with “GT 50 Years” identification.
There will also be two-tone cashmere and black leather seats, contrasting cashmere stitching on the instrument panel, steering wheel, shift boot, door inserts and seats, loop-carpet floor mats with cashmere stitching and suede binding, 19-inch wheels and an commemorative leather portfolio for the owner’s manual.
In addition, there will be a badge on the instrument panel engraved with the signature of Ford Motor Company Executive Chairman Bill Ford and serial number 0001 of 0001.
Raffle tickets will be priced at $20 each and can be purchased now through National MS Society, Michigan Chapter and Ford Motor Company. The winner does not need to be present when the ticket is drawn.
