2015 Subaru Outback gets Big Price Increase
Subaru has announced pricing on the all-new 2015 Outback, coming in about $4,600 more expensive than last year’s model.
The 2015 Subaru Outback 2.5i will start from $25,745 (including destination) while the 2.5i Premium will sell for $27,845. Those looking for even more standard features can opt for the 2.5i Limited which has an MSRP of $30,845 and those needing more performance will have to pay up $33,845 for the Outback 3.6R Limited.

The 2.5i models are powered by a 2.5-liter flat-four engine with 175 hp while the more powerful 3.6-liter six-cylinder Boxer engine offers 256 hp. All Outback models now come with a Lineartronic CVT with paddle shifters, netting 2.5i models a rating of 25 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. The 3.6R is rated at 20-mpg city, 27-mpg highway.
As for the Premium model, buyers will get the All-Weather Package, Dual Zone Automatic Climate Control, 10-way power driver’s seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift handle and an illuminated overhead console and front door pull handles. The Limited model adds Perforated Leather-Trimmed Upholstery, 18-inch wheels, a Harman/Kardon 12-speaker stereo system, 10-way power driver’s seat with two-position memory, dual-mode heated rear seat backs and cushions, loads of safety tech, exterior mirrors with integrated turn signals, fog lights, woodgrain-pattern accent trim and center console rear A/C outlets.
Available options include a moonroof plus power rear gate for $1,695, while ading navigation to the package for takes the price up to $2,195. Adding all the bells and whistles (moonroof package, power rear gate, navigation, EyeSight, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert) will run you $3,390.
The 2015 Subaru Outback will arrive dealerships this summer.
