Just a week after the 24 Hours of Le Mans, this year’s Nurburgring 24 Hour race promises to bring plenty of motorsports excitement.
This weekend’s race will feature over 150 race cars from Mercedes-Benz to Audi, Aston Martin to McLaren and everything in between. Lexus and Gazoo Racing will be campaigning a pair of LFAs in this year’s race, one of which is the LFA Code X – an experimental car with a larger engine than the standard LFA.

You’ll also want to keep your eyes on last year’s champions, the Black Falcon team that will be back to defend their win from 2013. Once again the team will be racing a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 race car and expects stiff competition from the pair of Rowe Racing SLS race cars.
But don’t be surprised to see the Nissan GT-R fighting for top honors this year and McLaren is hoping to surprise a few skeptics.
This year’s Nurburgring 24 Hours will start on Saturday at 10:00 AM ET / 7:00 AM PT.
