2015 BMW X6 Priced From $60,550

Pricing for the second-generation BMW X6 has been announced.

The 2015 BMW X6 sDrive35i will start from $60,550 including destination while the X6 xDrive35i with all-wheel drive will be priced at $62,850. Those looking for even more performance can opt for the turbocharged V8 X6 xDrive50i that starts from $73,850. The re-designed X6 shares its platform with the latest X5 but features a sleeker, coupe-like appearance. Under the hood of the 35i models is a 3.0-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder engine with 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque while the xDrive50i sports a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 with 445 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque.

Every 2015 X6 model will come with an eight-speed automatic transmission helping the 3.0-liter model accelerate to 60 mph in six seconds flat while the more potent V8 does the sprint in 4.8 seconds. Though styling hasn’t radically changed for the second-generation model, the X6 is more aerodynamic with air deflectors on the front wheel arches, Air Curtains integrated into the outer air intakes of the front apron and Air Breathers in the fenders.

The 2015 BMW X6 will arrive U.S. showrooms later this year.
