2015 Ford Mustang is Less Efficient

A leaked window sticker has revealed fuel economy numbers for a selection of 2015 Ford Mustang models. 

According to the leaked info from Mustang6g.com, the 2015 Mustang V6 is rated at 28 mpg on the highway and 17 in the city with a manual transmission, a loss of 3 mpg highway compared to the 2014 model. The automatic-equipped model comes in at 17 mpg in the city and 28 on the highway, losing 2 mpg in the city and one on the highway.

The most fuel efficient model will likely be the EcoBoost Mustang with a six-speed manual, which is pegged at 22 mpg city, 31 on the highway and 26 mpg combined. Fuel economy numbers for the V8 were not included.

A Ford spokesman would not confirm if these leaked numbers were correct.
