2015 Mercedes-Benz SL400 Priced from $84,925

Pricing for the 2015 Mercedes-Benz SL400 has been announced.

Powered by the German automaker’s new 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz SL400 will be priced from $84,925 including destination coming in at $22,900 less than the SL550 model. The powerplant is good for 328 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque and will replace the SL350 in the convertible’s lineup.

Those performance specifications will allow the SL400 to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds while returning 20 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. The luxury drop-top will come standard with leather interior, wood trim, heated front seats, navigation and a 600-watt stereo system. Options include a Premium 1 Package ($4,900) which adds a rearview camera, PARKTRONIC with Active Parking Assist, active ventilated seats, active multicontour seats with massage, an electronic trunk closer with hands-free access, KEYLESS-GO and the company’s AIRSCARF neck-level heating system.

Also available is a $2,000 Sport Wheel Package that adds 19-inch AMG five-spoke wheels, a sport braking system and sport steering wheel. Lastly, there’s a Driver Assistance Package for $2,950 and adds DISTRONIC PLUS adaptive cruise control, PRE-SAFE braking, active blind spot assist and active lane keep assist.

The 2015 Mercedes-Benz SL400 is expected to arrive dealerships later this month.
