Expect more Infiniti models to be available within the next five years.

According to Infiniti Americas vice president Michael Bartsch in an interview with Autoblog, Infiniti will expand its portfolio by 60 percent while adding new powertrain and transmission options thanks to its recent collaboration with Daimler.

Currently, the automaker has eight vehicles in its lineup but that number will grow to 13 before 2020. Though the company won’t spill details on what’s coming, it is expected that the Q30 will be one of the first new models to arrive at dealerships. In addition, Infiniti is planning a dedicated electric vehicle along with a QX30 crossover, which will be based on the Q30 compact. The company is also committed to offering a performance division, expanding on the current IPL sub-brand as well as adding a “strong four-cylinder” to its offerings.
And let’s not forget about the upcoming Q50 Eau Rouge!
