2015 Toyota Prius Special Edition Announced
The Toyota Prius is getting a special edition for the 2015 model year before it heads off to retirement.
The popular hybrid will get a special edition model for 2015 which will be available in two exclusive colors Absolutely Red and Blizzard Pearl. Featuring 17-inch wheels with a unique dark metal finish, the special edition Prius will also have all the same standard equipment as the Prius Three trim level as well as an interior trimmed with black SofTex seats and dark gray stitching, blue front footwell illumination, dark chrome door grips and steering and shifter bezels. Lastly, the side mirrors will have integrated turn signals.

The Toyota Prius continues on with a 51-mpg city, 48-mpg highway rating which is good for 50 mpg combined. Under the hood is a 1.8-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine paired to an electric motor for a total system output of 134 hp.
Toyota is expected to retire the third generation Prius for 2015, replacing it with an all-new fourth-generation car the following year.
