Chevy Tahoe, Suburban Texas Edition, Z71 Announced
Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban shoppers now have more options available.
The American automaker has revealed the Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban Z71 models as well as a special Texas Edition that will be available for both models starting next month. Starting with the Tahoe and Suburban Texas Editions, the special package will be available on LT or LTZ trims and is distinguished by exclusive badges. It also comes with a host of extras including the max trailering package, 20-inch wheels for the LT models, 22-inch premium painted aluminum wheels with LTZ models and more. The Texas Edition will cost $2,195 additional for the LT and $1,095 for the LTZ.
“Texas is Chevy truck country and the new Tahoe and Suburban Texas Editions celebrate that passion like Friday night football,” said Sandor Piszar, director of Chevrolet Marketing. “These SUVs are part of the very fabric of Texas life.”

The Z71 editions for the Tahoe and Suburban will go on sale this fall adding a front skid plate, off-road tires mounted on 18-inch wheels, a unique grille, running boards and Z71 badges inside and out. The package also includes fog lights, front tow hooks and front parking assist. The package will be available on the 2015 Tahoe and Suburban LT models with 4WD with production starting in October.
“The popular Z71 package enhances the capable look and feel of the new 2015 Tahoe and Suburban,” Piszar said. “It gives customers another choice when it comes to selecting the full-size Chevrolet SUV that’s perfect for their lifestyle.”
