Fiat 500L Production Halted on Weak Demand

Fiat is having trouble moving its new people mover from dealer lots.
The Italian brand has suspended production of the 500L due to weak demand around the world. The car is produced at a factory in Serbia, where it has been built since 2012.
“The causes of this temporary setback are external and related to situation in the European and global automotive markets,” Fiat said in a statement on Monday. Fiat did not say how long the plant would be halted.
