Hotter Lexus RC F Rumored to be in Development

Lexus is already thinking of ways to improve on its new RC F sports car.

According to a recent report from Motoring, RC F chief engineer Yukihiro Yaguchi said development on the RC F would be ongoing and that the company is “already thinking about some changes to make for next year.” But before you start thinking of a model with even more performance, it appears that Lexus is emphasizing making the car more fun to drive rather than just forcing more power through the engine.

Yaguchi also said more power can be squeezed out of the engine but would require new components in order to raise the rev limiter. As the chief engineer for the IS F as well, Yaguchi emphasized that the new coupe will follow a similar upgrade path as the IS F with some model changes each year to improve on the driving experience.
