New Infiniti Coupe to be Shown by 2015

Nissan’s luxury brand is gearing up to launch a new luxury coupe that will go head-to-head with the new BMW 4 Series.

According to a report by Top Gear, the company plans to showcase a production version of the car before next year. Currently, Infiniti still sells the old G37 coupe re-named Q60 to fit with the brand’s unified naming structure. Next week Infiniti will showcase its Q80 concept during the Paris Motor Show and Infiniti chief creative officer Shiro Nakamura said the upcoming coupe, presumably the next Q60, will draw styling influence from that car.

The report also said that the car may be a bit bigger than the 4 Series, but not as big as the 6 Series. Nakamura also hinted some interest in putting the GT-R powertrain in the new coupe, like the Q50 Eau Rouge.
