Lister Hypercar Teased in Design Sketches

Historic British car brand Lister is teasing plans for a new low-volume hypercar.

The project is still in its early stages, but Lister says its new car will return the brand to the “leading edge of low-volume sports car manufacturing in the U.K. as well as Asia and North America.” It will cost roughly £2 million (approximately $3.2 million), which means that it will need to stack up beside cars from companies like Koenigsegg.

A name for the car still hasn’t been announced, but the design – previewed in the sketches show here – draws influence from the Storm supercar that Lister sold in the early ’90s.

Reports circulating the Internet suggest that the company plans to power the car with a 7.8-liter V12 engine that will produce a minimum of 1,000 hp.
