2016 Honda HR-V Video, First Look
Honda is the latest automaker to jump into the subcompact crossover segment with its new HR-V, unveiled at the 2014 LA Auto Show.
Based on the small Honda Fit, the HR-V will be powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with 138 hp and 127 lb-ft of torque, mated to a CVT. There will also be a six-speed manual gearbox, but it’s only available on the front-wheel drive models.

The HR-V will offer the same ‘Magic Seat’ arrangement as found in the Fit which allows the bottoms of the rear seats to be folded up along with 58.8 cubic feet of cargo volume with the second-row seats down.
