Porsche Panamera Exclusive Series Costs as Much as a Rolls-Royce Ghost
There’s good news at the 2014 L.A. Auto Show if you like the Porsche Panamera, but find to be a too common.
Sitting exclusively in a special glass booth is a special Panamera that’s fittingly called the Exclusive Series.
Based on the Turbo S Executive, only 100 of these Panameras will be built worldwide. Power for the all-wheel drive uber-sedan comes from a 4.8-liter turbocharged V8 engine that makes 570 HP and upwards of 590 lb-ft of torque thanks to an overboost feature.
Complete with a two-tone paint job, each Panamera Exclusive Series is hand-painted and comes standard with 20-inch wheels. Inside, the Exclusive is as over-the-top as a Hollywood West party. The seats and the lower door panels are finished in leather developed by Italian studio Poltrona Frau.
To ensure passengers remember this is a very special Panamera, the perforation on the seat ventilation is in the shape of the Porsche crest. To match the two-tone exterior paint job, the interior trim is likewise multi-toned.
A newly developed rear seat entertainment system, called plus, is making its debut in the Panamera Exclusive Series and features a massive 10.1-inch DVD entertainment screen. Finishing off the extreme luxuriousness of this Exclusive is a made-to-measure luggage set with two trolleys, two weekender bags and a beauty case.
The Porsche Panamera Exclusive Series is now available for order at the tidy sum of $264,895 after destination charges, or roughly the same starting price as a Rolls-Royce Ghost.
