Bugatti Testing at Least Three Different Concepts for Veyron Successor
As the final Bugatti Veryons are finding their way to owners, the company is looking ahead to see what will replace it.
The Veyron successor has some big shoes to fill as the original car was one of the fastest, most powerful production cars ever released. The company is testing at least three different concepts regarding a successor and a few details have come forward thanks to a report from Bloomberg.
Expect the next car to be revealed next year or early 2016 as a lighter, more powerful vehicle. Power could surpass 1,200 hp, while insiders are saying that one of the concepts is using a hybrid powertrain to boost output and lower emissions.

Last month, the automaker released the final “Legends Edition” Veyron, which pays homage to the company’s founder Ettore Bugatti. The company still hasn’t ruled out any plans for making the Galiber, a four-door with the same motor and high-speed capability of the Veyron.
The Bloomberg report also had an interesting quote from Bugatti president, Wolfgang Duerheimer pointing out the wealth of his customers: “The Bentley customer on average owns 8 cars. The average Bugatti customer has about 84 cars, 3 jets and one yacht.”
