Audi unveiled its next-generation Q7 in Detroit this week with a long list of technological upgrades and structural improvements.

The biggest news with the German automaker’s SUV is that not only is it newly built from the ground up, the company managed to shed roughly 716 lbs from its weight. Now with a curb weight of 4,398 lbs when equipped with the 3.0-liter TDI diesel engine, the Q7 is an attractive option for those looking for a luxury SUV.
