2016 Lexus GS F Video, First Look

The Lexus GS lineup is getting an injection of performance at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show.

Making its debut in Motown, the 2016 Lexus GS F is equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 with 467 hp and 389 lb-ft of torque that is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. This isn’t the first time the GS has been outfitted with a V8 engine, but it is the first time for the current generation and is by far the most powerful GS model yet.

Weighing in at around 4,000 lbs the GS F won’t be a lightweight but it’ll have plenty of power to push the factory 19-inch wheels.
