2017 Ford Raptor Video, First Look

Ford truck enthusiasts have plenty to be excited about in the coming years.

Unveiled at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show, the 2017 Ford Raptor will feature an updated version of the American automaker’s 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Compared to the current Raptor, the new model will be about 500 lbs lighter thanks to the use of aluminum and though exact specifications weren’t revealed, Ford said it will more power than the current V8 model.

Like the current Raptor, the new model will be built to go off-roading coming with a set of Fox shocks, 17-inch wheels and BF Goodrich All-Terrain KO2 rubber. Expect the pickup to be available late next year as a 2017 model.
