Ford Shelby GT350R Video, First Look

It isn’t the most powerful Mustang, but it’s arguably the hottest pony ever to come from Ford’s stable.

With over 130 lbs saved over the standard GT350, the GT350R sports carbon fiber wheels and removes plenty of amenities that aren’t necessary in a track car made for the streets.

Under the hood is the 5.2-liter flat-plane V8 engine churning over 500 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque while enhanced aerodynamics gives the Shelby GT350R a much more aggressive appearance. The new Shelby GT350R will be available as a limited-production model later this year.
