Ford Sync to Ditch Microsoft for Blackberry QNX

Ford will reportedly drop Microsoft for its next-generation Sync infotainment software, instead turning to Blackberry’s QNX platform.
The American automaker has had numerous issues with the in-car technology software, with glitches and bugs causing a slump in surveys. Many Ford customers have been reporting malfunctioning tech systems and touschscreens in their vehicles with Sync being the culprit, with more than seven million vehicles on the road today with the Microsoft voice-activated software.

Blackberry’s QNX Software Systems is being used by various Audi and BMW vehicles.
