Honda FCV Concept Video, First Look
Honda is previewing its hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle of the future in Detroit this week.
On display at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show is the Japanese automaker’s FCV concept that is powered by a hydrogen fuel-cell stack and is capable of traveling 300 miles on a single tank. And unlike a traditional electric vehicle, refilling the FCV takes only five minutes, which is similar to a conventional gasoline vehicle.

Compared to Honda’s previous fuel-cell vehicle, the FCX, the new FCV concept has 60 percent more power despite the stack being physically shrunk 30 percent. The FCV is expected to enter production in Japan by March 2016 and will head to Europe and U.S. at a later date.
