Honda Civic Type R Looks Hot in New Commercial

Honda has teased its upcoming Civic Type R in a new commercial.

Scheduled to make its official debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show in early March, Honda has released a new video titled “Keep Up” where the Japanese automaker introduces its new range of products and continuing innovations. Making a cameo appearance is the Civic Type R and while we’ve seen it in concept form, the black model that whizzes by features blade-style LED foglights and LED headlights.

Recently, Honda released teaser photos for the upcoming production Civic Type R that showed round foglights, which means it’s likely that the model in the commercial is still in concept form. Regardless, the upcoming Civic Type R is exciting and Honda has confirmed that its 2.0-liter turbocharged VTEC engine will produce between 280 – 300 hp. Thankfully there’s just a little over a week to wait until it makes its proper debut in Switzerland.
