Mini Minor Expected to Arrive in Late 2018

Some more details have surfaced on Mini’s upcoming small car, the Minor. 

According to Car, the Mini Minor will arrive in late 2018 or early 2019 and will be the result of a collaboration with Toyota. The Minor will be roughly 11.3 feet long, nearly two feet shorter than the new Mini five-door hatchback. For reference, it will have the same wheelbase as the new Smart ForFour.

As the entry-level product in Mini’s lineup, the Minor will also carry an entry-level price tag. In Europe, the car will sell for somewhere between €12,500 ($14,100) and €13,500 ($15,300).

For styling, the Minor will combine elements from the Rocketman concept and the Mini Paceman. An all-new platform is being designed for the Mini Minor which will also spawn a successor for the Toyota iQ dubbed the Starlet.
