2016 Mercedes E-Class Spied Dropping Camo
This is the best look we have yet on the 2016 Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
Caught by AutoGuide.com‘s spy photographers testing in Germany, the E-Class prototype has dropped its heavy plastic camouflage revealing its front grille. As expected, the E-Class is heavily influenced by the design of the new S-Class model while sporting a longer wheelbase than the C-Class despite being based on the same platform.

Naturally the E-Class will be longer and wider than the C-Class, which means more interior space. But by using the German automaker’s MRA platform, the new model will be lighter and more rigid thanks to the ability to use aluminum in its construction. Expect the sedan to make its debut first, followed by the wagon, coupe and the convertible models at a later date.
