Honda S660 Launching with Concept Edition
The Honda S660 is heading to dealerships in Japan early next month.
As was previously spotted by a photographer who captured photos of the S660 at a port in Japan, Honda has confirmed that its compact roadster will be available for purchase starting April 2. To celebrate the launch of the new model, Honda will offer the S660 Concept Edition, which will be limited to 660 units exclusive to Japan. The two-seater is powered by a 660cc turbocharged three-cylinder engine with 63 hp, a specially tuned version of the powerplant used in Honda’s N-Box series of minicars.
Boasting a midship engine, rear-wheel drive layout, the S660 has a 45:55 front-to-rear weight balance. Transmission offerings for the S660 include a six-speed manual or a CVT with paddle shifters that can navigate between seven simulated gear ratios. It also has a detachable soft top.

The S660 Concept Edition features a Bordeaux red roll-top, two-tone side mirrors and an exhaust tip finisher with exclusive coating. The exterior of the limited edition model will also have a water-repelling body coating called “Ultra Glass Coating NEO” and the interior receives red stitching on the sporty leather seats. An aluminum plate with the serial number along with a center display round off the special features.
Unfortunately, this isn’t a car you can expect Honda to ship Stateside.
