Nissan Sway Concept Previews Hatchbacks to Come
Small cars don’t have to be devoid of style.
That’s the message Nissan is looking to get across with its new Sway concept, which debuted today at the Geneva Motor Show.
Taking design cues from the likes of the new Murano SUV and Maxima sedan, the Sway concept makes use of an angular “V-motion grille” up front and plenty of dramatic lines. Other design highlights include the hiked-up C-pillars, floating roof and boomerang taillamps.
Inside the car gets a clean cabin inspired by the IDx concept.

Measuring three-inches shorter in length than a Versa Note but 6-inches longer than a Micra it’s not exactly clear what model this new concept is replacing. Not that it matters, really.
In a statement Nissan says, “future Nissan models in different market segments in all regions will follow this styling direction.”
