2016 Scion iM Video, First Look
It’s not as cool as the concept that was introduced last year, but the production Scion iM has made its debut.
The new five-door hatchback is based on Toyota’s Auris and will be powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with 137 hp. That powerplant can be mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or CVT with the latter boasting paddle shifters for a more spirited driving experience.

The company hopes to attract a younger demographic with the new iM and will come standard with 17-inch wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control and power folding heated side-view mirrors. Official pricing on the 2016 Scion iM hasn’t been announced, but the automaker expects it to start at around $20,000.
