BBC to Air Final Top Gear Episodes

The three episodes of Top Gear that were never made public will finally make it to air.

The BBC has confirmed that it will show the final three episodes of the show that were pulled after Jeremy Clarkson’s assault on producer Oisin Tymon. “No way would I want the available material not to be seen by viewers,” said Kim Shillinglaw, the controller of BBC2 and BBC4. The episodes will air sometime this summer.

Clarkson has since shed some light on the situation, saying that it was the “most stressful day I had ever had in 27 years at the BBC”. Two days before the incident, Clarkson was told by his doctor that a lump on his tongue was likely cancerous and that it should be checked out immediately. Marriage issues and the passing of his mother also contributed to Clarkson’s high stress level.

Those who already miss Top Gear are in luck, as Clarkson says that he plans to return with a new show about cars. “I have lost my baby but I shall create another. I don’t know who the other parent will be or what the baby will be like, but I cannot sit around any more organizing my photograph albums,” wrote Clarkson.
