Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition Wears a Race Suit
Chevy has introduced a new special edition of its top sports car, the Corvette Z06.
The Chevy Corvette Z06 C7.R edition mimics the famous Chevy race car of the same name by wearing its livery, available in either yellow or black. Only 500 examples of this special edition will be built and each one will get a specially serialized vehicle identification number.

The package is available on coupe and convertible models with the 3LZ trim package and comes with all of the performance upgrades available, namely the Z07 performance package and carbon ceramic brakes. As part of the Z07 package, the car gets adjustable aero and Michelin Pilot Super Sport Cup 2 tires.
Other elements of the special edition include yellow brake calipers, yellow accent stripes on the wheels, carbon fiber ground effects, gray metallic grilles and vents, a jet-black leather interior with yellow contrast stitching, racing sill plates and a car cover finished with C7.R graphics.
Pricing for the Corvette Z06 C7.R edition was not announced. The base Corvette Z06 Coupe costs $79,990, while opting for the Z07 performance package pushes the price to $91,000.
