Lamborghini Polo Storico Launched to Support Heritage Models
Lamborghini is following in the footsteps of other automakers to support its older models.
The Italian automaker has announced its Polo Storico heritage division that is a relaunch of its restoration center that consolidates other departments under a single roof. Lamborghini Polo Storico will include the brand’s historical archives, the vehicle restoration center, vehicle certification and guarantees the availability of numerous genuine spare parts for all historical Lamborghini models. The heritage division is similar to what other automakers have launched recently, including Jaguar Land Rover and Ferrari’s Classiche department.

Lamborghini Polo Storico will offer a Lamborghini owner the ability to preserve, maintain and restore their vehicle with exclusive original spare parts and the methods used will be as close to possible as the original. The division’s spare parts will come from the Italian automaker’s rich stocks or will be produced by the company’s original and certified suppliers.
The division will also be home to Archivio Storico Lamborghini, a historical archive that includes the documentation of classic Lamborghini models, in addition to technical schemes, body colors, leathers, images and several publications ever made by the company.
“By creating Lamborghini Polo Storico, the company does not only immortalize its precious knowledge, but also assures the controlled quality and integrity of Lamborghini classic cars all over the world,” Lamborghini said in a press release.
