2016 Audi TT Price Increased by $2500
2016 Audi TT price details have been released.
Three different variants of the TT will be initially offered, with the base TT Coupe 2.0 TFSI starting at $43,825 (including a $925 delivery charge). That represents about a $2500 price increase over the outgoing model. Bump up to the topless version of the TT and the price rises to $47,325, while the top-dog Audi TTS will sell for $52,825, both of which are just over $3000 more expensive than the 2015 models they replace.
Both the TT Coupe and Roadster use the same 2.0-liter TFSI engine that makes 220 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, mated to a six-speed dual clutch transmission and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system. For those who want more performance from the TT, the more expensive TTS model also uses a 2.0-liter TFSI engine, tuned to produce 292 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque.

Every TT model features Audi’s new drive select system which has various settings that can tailor the car’s shift points, throttle response and steering to the driver’s needs. When switched into dynamic mode, the Quattro all-wheel drive setup becomes rear-wheel biased to make sure the TT feels like a traditional sports car. The system also reads sensors 150 times every 10 milliseconds to make sure optimal torque is getting to each wheel.
Standard features on the base TT include auto climate control, Audi MMI interface with two USB ports, heated front seats, a leather and Alcantara interior, LED interior lights, 18-inch wheels, backup sensors and LED headlights and taillights. Larger 19-inch wheels come on the TTS, while red brake calipers can also be had on the sportier model.
Other options include a technology package that comes with Audi MMI navigation, auto-dimming power-folding mirrors, Audi connect, front and rear parking sensors and a backup camera. The Audi design selection package can be ordered on the TT Coupe or Roadster and comes with brown Nappa leather, slate gray interior accents, aluminum decorative inlays and S Sport seats with contrasting diamond stitching.
Finally, a launch edition package is available on the TTS that adds a Mythos Black exterior paint job, a red Nappa leather interior, 19-inch facet-design forged wheels, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, piano black inlays, red brake calipers and the entire technology package.
