2016 BMW M3 Gets Minor Updates
BMW didn’t forget about its M3 model when updating the 3 Series lineup.
While it didn’t get redesigned like the other 3 Series sedan models, the 2016 BMW M3 did get some minor updates to keep it fresh for the new model year.
BMW spokesperson Hector Arellano-Belloc confirmed the updates to Autoblog, saying that the 2016 BMW M3 now comes with full LED tail lights, an improved navigation system with over-the-air map updates and additional chrome trim. For the exterior, the German automaker has added two new colors from the BMW Individual line: Smoked Topaz Metallic and Champagne Quartz Metallic.

Powering the 2016 BMW M3 is the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six engine with 425 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. Given how new the model is, it’s no surprise that the changes to the 2016 BMW M3 are minimal.
