Engineers took 350 hours of wind tunnel testing to properly hone the new Camaro. Thanks to this testing, a new flush belly pan was developed that stretches from the front of the car to the center of the vehicle, which helped to reduce total lift by 30 percent.
Chevy has confirmed that car will be offered with a 6.2-liter V8, while a turbocharged four-cylinder is also rumored to be joining the ranks. We also know that the new Camaro will feature magnetic ride control suspension and will weigh 220-lbs less than the current car.
The new Camaro will debut May 16, during a special public event at Detroit’s Belle Isle Park.
