BMW M2 Specs Leaked: 365 HP, 343 LB-FT Torque

BMW M2 specs leaked through an enthusiast forum.

According to forum poster Dackelone, the BMW M2 will launch with 365 hp and 343 lb-ft of torque from its N55 engine, a turbocharged 3.0-liter straight six that BMW has used in various models since 2009. The engine will also feature an “over boost” function that increase torque by 25 lb-ft in the low- to mid-range RPM levels, similar to what was found in the 1M.

In addition, the BMW M2 will reportedly launch with the following color choices: Alpine White, Black Sapphire metallic, Long Beach Blue metallic and Mineral Grey metallic. It is likely that more colors will be added later into the BMW M2’s production, which is scheduled to commence this November.
