2016 Camaro Convertible Leaked
The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro convertible accidentally appeared on the company’s website earlier than expected.
Although only low-res images were available, they give us the best look yet at the convertible variant for Chevrolet’s sixth-generation Camaro, which will have a soft top that tucks underneath a tonneau cover.
Recently, the American automaker released a teaser video for the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro convertible, calling it the “most innovative Camaro Convertible ever.” Chevy promises to reveal all the secrets to the convertible sports car in just two days on June 24, 2015.

There will be little left to keep as a secret for the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro convertible at that point, but expect the company to reveal some details on how quickly the top can be dropped and at up to what speeds. If it follows in the same footsteps as the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette convertible, it’ll be a fully electronic drop-top that can be lowered remotely and at speeds up to 30 mph.
We can already see in the leaked photos that the top will hide nicely beneath a color-matched tonneau cover, just like the Corvette. Check back with AutoGuide on June 24 for all the details on the new Chevrolet Camaro convertible.
