The long-awaited Fast & Furious Supercharged ride has finally arrived and is the grand finale to the studio tour at Universal Studios Hollywood. While sitting in a tram, guests will be surrounded by a 360-degree, 400-foot screen while wearing 3D glasses. Although the ride is stationary, riders will have the feeling of speeding at 120 mph, with the tram at one point jumping a bridge across a river.
The latest entry to the Fast and Furious movie franchise, Fast and Furious 7, set numerous records and eclipsed the $1 billion mark worldwide in just over two weeks.
“We are thrilled to bring Universal’s incredibly compelling film franchise to life,” said Larry Kurzweil, president of Universal Studios Hollywood, in a statement.
