Porsche Macan Turbo Gets GTS-Inspired Packages

1

The Porsche Macan Turbo is getting new exterior and interior packages, inspired by the new Macan GTS model.

At the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, Porsche unveiled the Macan GTS model that slots between the “S” and “Turbo” nameplates, so it’s a bit strange that the Macan GTS would inspire a model that sits above it. Nonetheless, the new exterior and interior packages for the Macan Turbo give it a sportier touch with 21-inch wheels in 911 Turbo design offered in a bi-color finish. The door mirrors are also overhauled with a sleeker design while wheel hub covers with a colored Porsche crest provides another accent to the aesthetics. Contrasting elements on the outside include high-gloss black on the air inlets and side blades as well as the trim strips on the side windows and rear underbody panel. The black theme continues with a sport exhaust system featuring black exhaust tips and smoked tail lights.

On the inside, Porsche has outfitted the Macan Turbo with Alcantara on the center panels of the seats, armrests of the center console and door paneling. Decorative stitching can be had in Rhodium Silver or Garnet Red on the instrument panel, seats and door panels for additional highlights. Illuminated carbon door sill plates and Turbo letting on the headrests finish off the interior.

According to Porsche, both packages can be ordered separately
