Safest Crossovers and SUVs You Can Buy in 2016
Shopping for a crossover or SUV for your family?
Safety is an extremely important factor when shopping for a vehicle, especially one that will have your family on board. The crossover and SUV market has become so dominant and competitive, so AutoGuide.com has compiled a list of the safest ones you can purchase. The criteria was to find every crossover and SUV that has earned a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) as well as a five-star overall rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). All vehicles on this list fit both requirements.
It’s worth noting that not all 2016 model year vehicles have been tested by both IIHS and NHTSA, so we will be keeping this list updated as often as possible with new additions as more vehicles get tested.
