Bugatti Chiron Set to Take on Goodwood Hill Climb

The Bugatti Chiron will make its U.K. debut at the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The French automaker has confirmed that the successor to the Veyron will also participate in the famous Goodwood Hill Climb each day of this year’s event, giving attendees a glimpse of the exotic in action. Sporting 1,500 horsepower and 1,180 pound-feet of torque, the Bugatti Chiron boasts a newly developed, 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine that sounds absolutely ridiculous.

It is also the first Bugatti model to benefit from an adaptive chassis, aimed to help bolster its high-speed stability. The company claims it will be able to sprint to 62 mph from a standstill in under 2.5 seconds.

Limited to just 500 units, the Bugatti Chiron will start deliveries later this year and it has reportedly already sold over 200 units.
