Mercedes-AMG GT R Teased as ‘Beast of the Green Hell’

The Mercedes-AMG GT R is set to make its debut this week.

Confirming that the sports car will make its debut June 24, the German automaker has released a series of teaser videos previewing what we can expect. And since the Mercedes-AMG GT R was built to conquer the Nurburgring, which is passionately known as the Green Hell, it’s only fitting that the debut car is finished in matte green paint.

The above teaser video shows off bits of details of the Mercedes-AMG GT R, including the yellow “R” badge that will be used to designate the hotter version of the sports coupe. Inside, we spot lightweight racing bucket seats boasting yellow stitching and yellow seatbelts.
