Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera Spied Testing New Aerodynamic Bits

The Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera is getting even more tweaks to fine tune its performance.

Spy photographers have one again caught the Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera testing on the Nurburgring, but this time it’s featuring additional aerodynamic components. Up front at the top of the fenders there are now camouflaged air outlets that are similar to what’s seen on the Porsche 911 GT3 RS that should help improve downforce by quite a bit. On the rear fenders, it appears the Italian automaker has added an extra air intake above the regular side intakes. In addition, the air intakes on the front bumper actually have more camouflage than before, suggesting that Lamborghini is making more tweaks to the car’s aerodynamics.

With two different prototypes being tested, the big question is whether Lamborghini is actually preparing two different versions of the Huracan Superleggera, one being more hardcore than the other. The company could also just be testing two different ways to see which method improves performance and cooling better.

Since the Huracan Superleggera didn’t make an appearance at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, its debut is likely scheduled for sometime next year.
