Subaru Recalls 100K Turbocharged Cars Over Fire Risk

Subaru is calling back 100,000 turbocharged vehicles over a fire risk.

The secondary air injection pump found in these turbocharged vehicles can fail, causing it to overheat and melt, potentially leading to a fire. Subaru says it has two reports of fires related to the problem.

Dealers will replace the secondary air injection pump to fix the issue. The brand hasn’t announced a timeline for when the recall will begin.
