Ferrari is Debuting its Last Naturally Aspirated Engine Next Month
The Ferrari F12 M will make its debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, and with it comes the Italian automaker’s final naturally aspirated engine.
Spied testing late last year, the Ferrari F12Berlinetta’s successor will feature a naturally aspirated V12 engine producing over 750 horsepower. Ferrari will be using solely forced induction and electrification in the future. Expect the engine to be based on the 6.3-liter motor found in the LaFerrari, but without the electric hybrid powertrain, making it the most powerful naturally aspirated engine used in a series production model by Ferrari.

As a result, the F12 M will be quicker to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill compared to the current F12’s 3.1-second sprint. The exotic will also take advantage of Ferrari’s “virtual short wheelbase” active rear steering system first seen on the F12tdf.
On the outside, the F12 M will look familiar with evolutionary styling, sporting new lights and an updated front grille. On the inside, Ferrari will give it the dual-screen infotainment system used in the new GT4C Lusso.
