Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV Continues to Take Shape
Development of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV is underway and we caught a prototype doing some cold weather testing in Sweden.
The Cullinan, which Rolls-Royce refers to as a high-sided vehicle (HSV), will be based on the same aluminum spaceframe architecture as the upcoming Phantom, a platform that will eventually underpin the entire Rolls-Royce lineup.

For the Cullinan, the platform will be shorter and ride higher, with Rolls promising some good off-road capability from its first SUV. From the photos, we can see that the Cullinan will be a sizeable vehicle and will have the same rear-hinged coach doors at the back as found on the Phantom.
Power under the hood is expected to come from a V12, while a plug-in hybrid version is also said to be in development.
