2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC Scores a Top Safety Pick+ Award
It’s the highest award from IIHS.
Although the Mercedes-Benz GLC was introduced in the 2016 model year, it’s the first time the luxury crossover has undergone all IIHS evaluations. It received good ratings on all crashworthiness tests, has a superior-rated standard front crash prevention system, and available good- or acceptable-rated headlights.
In order to earn an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award, a vehicle must have good ratings in all five crashworthiness tests, an advanced or superior rating for front crash prevention, and an acceptable or good headlight rating.
