Aston Martin Has Designed a V12 Vacuum Cleaner
Dyson’s announcement that it will branch out of home appliances and into the automotive market has caught the attention of Aston Martin.
Aston Martin CEO Andy Palmer tweeted a picture of an Aston-branded vacuum cleaner at Dyson yesterday after the vacuum manufacturer announced it will build an electric car. The tweet was accompanied with the message “Congratulations @Dyson on joining our independent British car company club. We’re looking forward to branching out into vacuums.”

Aston’s cleaning device just about the prettiest vacuum we’ve laid our eyes on, featuring a svelte design with an integrated rear wing and a futuristic-looking clear canopy. We also like the subtle nod to Aston Martin V12 engines with the cylinder banks. If Aston ever did make a vacuum, we’d totally pick one up, although we probably wouldn’t be able to afford it.
The Aston Martin vacuum is just a joke from one British brand to another, but the designer behind it actually did a pretty solid job. Now let’s hope the design team over at Dyson is as good at designing cars as Aston is at designing vacuums.
