This is one-of-four-built 1985 Jaguar XJS custom modified with a “Koenig Special” body kit. Manufactured in the 80s (obviously) Koenig kits were available for many different high performance and luxury vehicles, most notably Mercedes, Jaguar, BMW, and even sometimes Ferrari. Folklore says that any Ferrari modified with a Koenig received a cease and desist letter, and a request to remove any Ferrari badging. It seems like Koenig would take the side strakes off of Ferraris and put them on other cars, sometimes to great effect, and other times… not so much. This is the former. On top of a totally awesome wide body, this Jaguar has BBS RS wheels, race cam, high compression pistons and numerous tune up parts to keep this big cat running in tip-top shape.
